1. What are your rates?
You can view our rates here. While on that page, complete the contact form about your upcoming event so we can contact you with more details regarding date availability.
2. What is the size of the room, and how many people does it hold?

The room is approximately 2000 square feet. It holds 75-100 people depending on how you have the room set up. 

3. How will I get into the building on the day of my event?

You will have a 4-digit access code, which will be emailed to you prior to your event. The door with the keypad that you will enter/exit through is located on the patio outside of the Canvas room. In the event you forget your access code, please call 573-803-0676 or check your email. If after hours, please check your email for code details as we operate M-F, 8am to 5pm.

4. Why do I have to give my credit card number on the rental agreement?

Unfortunately, due to recent damages made by a guest, we must keep a credit or debit card on file for incidentals. Further details about extra charges may be found in your rental agreement. Please note, we will not charge the card on file without prior notice.

5. Am I allowed to hang decorations?

Please do not tape or pin decorations to the walls or projector screen. This will damage the sheetrock or screen and may end in the renter getting charged an incidental fee. We have three wooden walls on wheels (4’W x 6’H each) that you are welcome to use as a backdrop, balloon arch, banner, or for other decorations. You can pin, tape, nail, or tack whatever you would like to these rolling wooden walls. If you would like to see them before your event, you can come by anytime Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm as long as the event room is not in use. Please call 573-803-0676 for details on the Canvas room’s availability. 

6. Can I get into the room early to decorate?

For each event, you are given one hour to set up and another hour to clean up. For example, if you rent the room for a four-hour block from 1pm-5pm, you would have access to the room from 12pm-6pm. If you would like more time to decorate or set up, please let us know and we can quote you the cost for extra hours. 

7. Can I store items in the event room prior to my event or leave items in the room after my event?

We do not allow storage of items in our room before or after events. Since we have renters in the room at all times, you would need to pay for the extra time in order to store your items either prior to or after your event. If you would like more time, please let us know and we can quote you the cost for extra hours. If you have items from Rental Land or any other rental place and they are closed at the time your event ends, please work out details with them on how you can return the rented items. You are not allowed to leave rented items in the space following your rented timeframe. This will result in a charged incidental fee. 

8. What hours am I allowed to rent the space?

We rent the space between 6:00 am and midnight any day of the week. The space is closed beyond those hours.  

9. Are tables and chairs included?

Yes. We have 30 two-person rectangle conference tables that are 2’x4’. Many people push these tables together to make a 4-top or an 8-top. We have 80 standard chairs and eight bar stools. We do NOT provide round tables, but you may rent them for your event from an outside vendor. You are responsible for delivery, setup and removal of the tables immediately following your event. The room holds 10-12 round eight-person tables.

10. Am I allowed to tour the Canvas room prior to my event?

Absolutely! We give tours during normal office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm as long as the room is not in use. Please call ahead of time to make sure the room is available before you come by. Our office number is 573-803-0676.

11. What amenities does the room have?

Our Canvas room is wheelchair accessible, and also has an accessible restroom. The space offers a full kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, and a small coffeepot). There is a long island/bar that separates the kitchen from the rest of the event room. Many people use this bar to serve food buffet-style. There are also plug-ins along the top of the island for crock pots and the like. Tables (30) and chairs (80) are included in the rental. We have audio/visual capabilities, with a large projector screen, a TV, and a lapel microphone available for your use at no extra cost. Along with the entry door, there is a garage door in the space you are welcome to use; you can open it to allow for some fresh air during your event and to allow for easier access to the outside patio.
